It seems to me as though it doesn't matter much. I'll be very surprised if completion of evaporation ponds is an important part of the show case.
They've completed the closed loop and are processing enough waste to produce 1500 tonnes of AL80 per month for sale. That's 18000 tonnes per year, which is nearly 1/3rd of the annual processing full production target of 60,000 tonnes.
Surely they must be operating at full capacity, or close to it, to deliver that much commercial quality oxide from the waste.
They may believe that they told everyone this when they stated how significant the AL80 contract is and advised that the closed loop process is now complete.
Communication is not their strong point.
