There are a lot of people who have skills and abilities out there who would like to do part time or casual work but regardless of the governments claims in the media, the fact is the government makes it extremely difficult to do so and it's also not economic for people to work part time

Even if you do volunteer work you are usually not covered by insurance, workers comp or any of the normal benefits that a worker has

So as a volunteer if you are sued or injured you are on your own
There are also many businesses which would be happy to have a mature sensible person working for them part time but it is not economic for them either.

Do you know that as a rough guide the extras an employer is liable for inc red tape is equivalent to the actual wage so even if you work for nothing the employer still has that cost

So it is all just more government lies
