You say "generally when everything gets crazy people buy gold! But not junior gold stocks."
Along the lines of the previous posts, I don't see anything that would suggest that the only safe thing to do is have money under the pillow or anything along that line thought. The points made in this thread all seem reasonable and likely to me.
Why wouldn't people buy junior gold stocks? We aren't necessarily talking about the average person on the street here. There would be very big money looking for a home and some exposure to profitable junior gold stocks would suit very nicely.
I think some people generalise junior gold stocks as speculative and larger ones as safe. If things get crazy, the difference between a profitable junior with no debt and a unprofitable junior with debt will become very clear. You can't label these things as it is all relative.
Along these lines, I wouldn't want any more risk than I already have in FML (until production and cash flow is de-risked).
