All true RedLion22. It is easy for Lynasheads to overestimate the trader knowledge of rare earths and Lynas itself. Many of us have assumed approval for a while based on our reading and research.
But RedLion's concern is more than the norm then the exception on trading floors and platforms IMO. I respect his caution. But many of you should recall our 52 week high was right as the "Stop Lynas" story was getting started. It clearly has been a big drag on the share price. I see no reason a quick return to that 52 week high point should not occur.
Considering:
- the concentrator is up and running;
- the Crown saga has past;
- rare earth prices have nearly doubled in that time; and -- the LAMP construction is more advanced now
I'd say the 52 week high is a buy point after approval.
I think it would be great if Lynas kicked out an updated presentation as soon as the news comes out. I doubt they will be a late entry to KL. But they could pick any upcoming conference really. Let's face it Lynas will be the "in style" company. And we should use the moment to grab the press. It is not only shareholder friendly, it will also give leverage to business and long term contract negotiations. Few people know how state of the art the LAMP is right now. After IAEA approval I hope Lynas will view that message as a PR opportunity and responsibility.

Also, don't forget the China H2 quota numbers as well. This was the source of the New Year's rare earth pop last time. Check your charts chartists. That was a good set of trading days for every REE stock. It was a chance for the "rare earths are a bubble" shorters to get their heads handed to them. There is still plenty of short interest out there so some of the same covering is likely IMO. Either way we have a lot to look forward to indeed. Good luck to all.
