It is becoming obvious that these guys are positioning themselves to hold as large a stake as possible, and seem to be the buyer on the market all the time.
Suggests they are extremely confident and have done due diligence. Assuming they are on to something for themselves then all other remaining shareholders should expect some exciting times coming up.
One imagines that they are aiming to make some big money out of this, and as your post implies effectively paying peanuts for gold.
Or to put it another way turning peanuts into gold.
