What an absolute load of crap - He was the head of the Catholic Church. It's a religion with certain beliefs like the many other religions around the world. He was not the head of some political party that has to conform to peoples views in order to get the votes. Bloody hell, if you were a catholic and did not agree with him on his condom stance, then join some other religion that would allow freedom to do whatever you want (Sheila and tough titties springs to mind - yeah they went along way). People get the stupid idea out of your head that religion has to conform to individual wishes and desires) Just like King Henry the VIII when he didn't agree with the Pope re marrying many wives so he just started his own religion. I think the idiot that wrote the article should perhaps start his own religion. My point is, why blame the head of a religion when it is not compulsory to be a catholic. Even if one is baptised a catholic, what's stopping him or her to change religion when he or she is older. Can't people think for themselves anymore. No of course not, who can you blame then, certainly not me?
