Highly plausible, without the freeloaders, USO and gov. stone hung around their neck they can concentrate on making money instead of providing charitable services.
otoh I'd be surprised if the freeloaders didn't go crying to the gov. and ACCC to ask for "fair and reasonably priced" access to Telstra's NextG network once the nbn deal is finalised.
