Is it LSG's policy to value all their holdings at cost? - or is this the case only in this instance as the holding is in an unlisted company?
I have seen comparisons of the LSG share price with its NTA and have noted how it usually trades at a significant discount. However, based on what you have indicated even the stated NTA appears vastly understated.
Are there other unlisted holdings other than East African?
I dont hold LSG but think the LSG guys are as switched on in the industry as you can get.
LSG has moved up nicely in the last week or so, one of the better performers in gold at the moment.
