I'm not expecting "the" coal sale announcement as soon as you all think. I would expect anyone wanting to spend hundreds of millions on a coal site would want to know all about this govt's carbon tax rules. They won't be released for a couple of weeks yet and then they'll need to be digested. Company's will then decide if investing in Aust is secure or not. Govts moving goal post unexpectedly is not good for big investments.

Happy to be wrong though.
