Heh, heres a post I have "borrowed" from another forum, with all respect to the author, but i,m sure he won,t mind--
I have a mate who was a geologist in Namibia. Its all very corrupt. I would expect that Reefton were expected to pay bribes to the appropriate officials and have not. It is very hard to go to shareholders and ask for a Milion or two for bribes! So I expect that they had a difficult choice of paying a ridiculous bribe, that could not be justified to shareholders or doing what they have done. The tenements will now be leased to the company that pays the biggest bribe. So I doubt that they will get the tenaments back. Or the tenements will be leased to an officials mate for $1. It is difficult for a small company that is regulated by ASIC to work in these conditions
