    Hi,
with all the contrary opinion's of previous posters,(a good thing) an overview is required, if one puts aside for the moment your personal opinion of SDL the fact remains that this company has to exist in the realities of our global environment be that good or bad, & lets all face it they have been bad for a little while now. We have to all realise that China needs us, & to be fair we need China & as has been stated at the AMEC convention it is becoming apparent that Australia could become its own worst enemy with carbon taxes & MRRT & what is seemingly a gripe across the board of all miners that a short term view of investment performance which is greatly at odds with the long term complex nature of getting a project up & running with infrastructure requirements, funding & partners in such projects all needing time for due diligence is the reality they have to deal with.
This has been repeated by some of the speakers there from Rio to SDL, we are or are starting to be seen as a sovereign risk country. China knows this she is already making decisions based on this scenario "Sinosteel" being an example, China invests for decades ahead but they do not like sovereign risk, they will have first mover advantage in Central West Africa they will invest now knowing that demand is not going to subside, so whether SDL gets its partner in July or August is really only background noise in the macro view, lets not "sweat the petty stuff", when SDL ignites as it surely will IMO I would prefer to "pet the sweaty stuff."
By the way Charlie Aitken has turned bullish again, always a good sign.

    Kind Regards
