So Foster report suggests a possible 1 billion tonne resource at Maitland - obviously a lot of what ifs thrown in there, but if IOH get close to that mark (and being so close to the coast) then surely this would have to be a significant revaluation of the company. Would SINO or similar be interested in moving in on that size deposit - it would end up being over 500 million tonnes of 63pct pellets, and very close to the coast so cheaper to move than Iron Valley etc. That is what we are dealing with for IV and BS combined. So even at the discounted valuation they give (was it really so long ago in May? - shame the overall market corrected 5-10pct when they put it out) you could pretty easily get to $7 a share. This share is way undervalued (IMHO) and a sniff of good size deposit at Maitland will probably do just as much for sp as a good PFS or almost as much as 'advanced discussions' with FMG et al.
Smoke 'em if you got 'em I say!
Anyone care to suggest IOH are anything other than on the cusp of a major re-pricing?
