no offence to be taken here please, but, surely share prices are not something that really is effected by technical analysis?

Example, any news forthcoming, is purely fundemantal, and I cant see how any technical analysis plays a part in this.

After being a currency trader for 8 years, and seeing 90% of people lose, and 90% follow technical indicators, it doesnt really make sense to me relying on historical data to "predict" future movements.

Example try and apply t/a to CNP, 100% fundamental.

I am watching some other stock and have a friend telling me all the t/a details, but, the price will not move until news, good or bad.

Please enlighten me if I am wrong.
