Trees,

"from personal experience seeing the side effects of peer pressure, it is not very nice."
Like I said before, this "online bullying" is no different to peer group pressure in real life situation. It happens all the time, and most adults eventually learn how to deal with it.
The pressure to conform exists in all facets of our life. Some can handle it better than others. It is something that has existed ever since humans group themselves to form a community.
It is not a desirable behaviour, but how do you prevent such behaviour online besides talking about it. A "bully" could be someone living thousands of miles away in another country. How do you stop that in forums where there is no moderation ?
