don't use avg too many processes(used to be good but not anymore), slows down your computer. i am now using microsoft essentials.
how to speed up you computer.
-do a cleanup and disk defrag -kill unnecessary processes(edit services http://www.blackviper.com/ is good) -use hijack this, to kill even more unnecessary processes. -i also end a heap of other automatic operations(updates etc) can remember exactly how atm. automated tasks or something. -get more ram, makes a big difference.
getting 8-10 hours out of my laptop battery. have vista business down to 33 processes.
