My Grandmother is 97 and is in the same boat. We see her in the morning looking in the mirror asking to be taken to her husband that died 23 years ao. She loves him so much after him being gone for 23 years. Never looked at another man, just got on with her life but still mourns him.

We try and help but at this stage, we can only comfort her.

Living in my body forever... nope. One day I do want to rest and getting to 97 like Grandmother, is just too much...

This world is not permanent an neither are we. One day, it is going to go up in a puff of smoke and we will be not even a memory.
