Clearly to my mind you are not a long term holder of NXS, nearly didnt respond because you are obviously sick of hearing from me today but I will give you a brief history.
NXS were suspended from trading from 9 Mar 09 to 28 May 09 - most companies do not survive from such a long suspension, even the AFR wrote NXS off.
NXS were required to sell assets including its then recently acquired ROC shares for a $70m loss (they rec'd about $30m on a $100m investment of a few months), prime exploration properties %s sold to Shell for a pittance $19m +++++ - follow up drilling proved up huge resources.
They also sold 50% of Longtom for $155m upon receipt of a sizable deposit (which had to be repaid as NXS could not satisfy the sale conditions) - whereas NXS had a total value of $420m on LT for 100%. At the time NXS did not have the loan funds/ credit line available to complete LT, they had overspent and had time blowouts - could not complete their only potential cashflow source.
You should read the auditors report as well - NXS were gone.
The above sales of assets were at "distressed" prices.
So that I am clear - RC / Directors have not saved NXS - the heroes of NXS are the shareholders who have maintained hope and faith and have put their hands in their pockets again and again and I was one of them in a big way.
