An increase in GHGs allow more of the suns energy to be absorbed by the atmosphere. This is CONVERTED to temperature units (degrees) Hense the term global warming. (term I hate BTW) So does this extra energy translate into increases in temperature in every location on Earth... NO. WHY? because we have an ocean. Look up thermohaline cycle.
If we had no ocean and were increaseing GHG the extra energy would directly affect every temp everywhere.
mithril,
H2O, Taxes, windmills, etc, etc, etc that are 'side' issues don't change the underlineing premise.
-increase GHG = increase energy for climate cycles.
Now is anyone sceptical about this...? If not... your a warmist, alarmist, fasist, cultist apparently
