HI All,
There was an article in the Kingaroy South Burnett Times newspaper(April 8th) about INL acquiring a major portion of Tarong and Taabinga coal resources. This is a big area of proven coal lease in the Kingaroy area which is only 25 klm from the Tarong power Station. There is also a rail line to be built in 2006 from Toowoomba area coal fields to Gladstone which will pass close by this area.(50 klm as the crow flies) This line will transport coal from 4 coal mines. This could be something worth further investigation. If any one has any info on this, please share it with me.
