burgo's catch phrase !

Greetings thrill-seekers ! No I havent gone AWOL, I have had some family stuff to attend to post Gold Coast meeting.

It was great to catch up with all the regulars and meet a few new Hot Copper posters, Its amazing what sort of mental picture you paint of someone from their cyber profile, yet when you meet face to face the carpet rarely matches the curtains - LOL !

I wont try to put all of my thoughts in this post but I will try and cover some more of the important points in further detail later.

For me the Penny dropped towards the end of the meeting, apart from asking a few questions regarding the new EPM next to QMN I spent most of the meeting watching Mr Ma from Oceanwide . I paid particular attention to his facial expression and body language.

Make no mistake CDU is now all but de risked ( IMO ) ! -with O.W on board. I think with O.W on the register at 19.9% the low ball take over risk has now vanished, but more importantly these guys want our copper.

The only way O.W can get the copper is for Cudeco to have a fully functional efficient operating plant at rocklands, They then need to be able to get the copper from Cloncurry to China. That will require rail and port facilities.

So to get the copper, O.W need CDU to have a mine + rail facility + port facility ! For CDU to facilitate that they need $$$$$$$$. So if CDU run out of $$$$ O.W wont get their copper and will have spent $140m on CDU shares at $3.80 for nothing !

Obviusly that wont happen, Wayne said at the meeting our friends at O.W will assist with whatever we need. I looked at Mr Ma, he smiled and nodded in agreement.

All we need now is for the QLD government to realise there is a viable project here that has the ability to employ a lot of people. Some of those could start work tomorrow if the dam Mining Lease was issued.

The trucks and excavators are ready to go and could be stockpiling ore as we speak. So Come on Mrs Bligh lets get moving.
