I'm all for a peaceful protest, but people like that deserve to be locked up. We have freedom of speech and many mediums of media to work with if we want our voices heard. Those with a good reason to protest I'm sure would be more than adequately accommodated if everyone sat down at the table and nutted it out. Whether that is through compensation or flexiblity by ESG in their operations to accommodate the farmers. With laterals the size of ESG's I can't see how anyone could not be accommodated. Within rights nobody with a decent sized property should see a well (clearly) from their window. If you can't see it there is very little chance of any adverse consequences from the well on your way of life. I'd be more than happy to have a well 800m from my home and giving me income.
