    Tullow Oil was boosted by bid rumours emanating from down under. The Australian Financial Review reported that BHP Billiton may interested in acquiring Tullow Oil. Tullow Oil perked up 0.3pc but BHP retreated 0.5pc".

    Any ideas what share price a successful bid would require?
