I don't know Richard Lindzen but he's wrong if he thinks a tax won't reduce carbon emmissions.
The carbon tax debate is like the cigarette debate 50 years ago. The tobacco industry claimed their products were safe - and even good for you. They had their supporting "scientists".
But we all know the facts now.
And cigarette taxes do have a significant impact on consumption and you'd be a fool to think they didnt.
