I remember a lot of the same talk in December when SSN was consolidating around 6c and then BANG in January a breakout occurred.
SSN's SP is consolidating and has been for a few months. Company news will drive a breakout and most probably the market is watching and waiting for Defender to prove our Niobrara acreage.
I don't buy the speculation about "big boy" accumulation at all. There is no proof of that at all (I'd be happy to see real evidence if anyone has it - such as a change in substantial shareholder notice). Volumes have been low for a while and this correlates to the price consolidation phase. When the right news comes along the price will change substantially and the volume will spike.
Actually I tell a lie - there is accumulation going on, after free-carrying my position for 12 months I've been accumulating again in the last month - I'm hardly a "big boy" though...:-)
Cheers, Sharks.
