    Before we get too excited about the POG we neeed to look in A$ terms.

    30 days + 2%
    182 days+ 5.5%
    365 days + 6.25%

    This may explain why SPs have not risen as much as some people expect.

    That said I am very bullish on gold stocks which seem both defensive against inflation and financial meltdown as well as growth orientated.
