All food imports should be banned.

The farmers get a raw deal

If I can get bananas from shops in SE Qld at $5.00 to $6.00 a kilo the only reason they are $14/16 a kilo down south is because the middle men and the Big 2 retailers are charging excessive profits

After the previous cyclone I was in that area and allthough there was a lot of damage the banana plantations were NOT decimated but bananas went to $16.00 a kilo almost straight away.
It called gouging, and there are no controls in part because of the Big 2
