Friday's decimation was a good grounder. Like most here I was so wrapped up in the rapid rise of the SP and the hype surrounding the "potential major coal find" I'd forgotten that CEO is just a junior explorer in its infancy. I'd lost focus and forgotten my original reasons for investing in CEO and the longer term vision I had cos quite frankly I thought I'd hit the jackpot early.
I think Victorious was spot on when he said:
"We had an initial hit and we wanted it to continue with a coaking coal announcement, high placement price and a map. None of these occurred and thats why the SP dropped hard and fast".
This plus the downer from not confirming 1 monster seam.
It took me till now to get over the downer from Friday but now all the speculative hype has been stipped down I realise I feel quite secure.
1/ we have at least one or two pretty decent hard coal seams in Ovorhangay
2/ we're moving on the 8 licences with a confirmed hit in South Gobi.
Also learned a few valuable lessons.....for the 10th time.
I believe SP will see a slower, more sustainable rise based on fact now.
Hope no one did their ass too badly on Friday.
Cheers
