Why / how will their profits be reduced?
It is accepted in this package that they will pass any carbon tax cost increases on.
In fact, many businesses will look for disreputable ways to screw more out of the public than just the passing on of legitimate tax costs.
Hopefully these businesses will be charged and shamed by ACCC.
