    I happened to note down the short positions on the ASX recording of daily short sales on the 11th and 12th of July and they don?t match at all ASIC?s record above.

    From above we have ASIC recorded short sales on the day:

    July 11 107k shorts added
    July 12 107k shorts added

    Compare this with my note of ASX recorded short sales for those days:

    July 11 2k shorts added
    July 12 273k shorts added

    The 12th of July of course was the day GXY again plunged from the mid 70cent range and stop losses may then have been triggered here(?).
