re: Ann: High Quality Coking Coal Properties ... Hi analyst99, you seem pretty knowledgeable about coal. Does the washing process require a lot of fresh water (per tonne of coal washed) or is little water lost in the process so an abundant supply isn't req'd? From my reading it seems to be largely a gravity separation process using a dense media in suspension to allow flotation of clean coal while the shaley residue sinks andd is separated off. Reason I ask is that many parts of S Mongolia seem to have acute shortage of water (Gobi Desert, etc).
