july report

As a holder of TDX I have done nothing but accumulate this year and while the July report has a number of speed bumps in it, my optimism in the company remains strong. So lets examine the two initiatitives on the RR platform.

The RR-AA wheat announcement is extremely positive and alone positions the company for the future. My take on this is that the battle has moved to the front line. It is taking on the HFN test as the industry gold standard which is obviously the consideration of the North American certification bodies. Why else "propose further collaborative studies with Bayer". Watch this space as if North America is satisfied with the results the world-wide snowball effect will happen very rapidly. Don't forget also this product has been commissioned in four languages and the northern hemisphere harvest season is this time of year. Translation, cash is flowing.

The second product on this platform has hit a speed bump, in that some refinement of the reagents is necessary. Whether this is simply proportions of reagents or tweeking of those particular to the test isn't stated but rest assured this problem will be remedied in the not too distant future as it isn't uncommon in the world of biochemistry. So while it is frustrating to the company and investors, it is a part of the process towards successful commercialisation, and the request by Bayer for refinement should be seen as a vote of confidence in the product.

Enough for this posting, but rest assured investors, this technology is on the right track and is in itself a company maker.
