Maybe the difference is that it will cost Sundance substantially less to build a rail line in Africa than BRM will have to do in Australia. African labour etc. is quite cheap in comparison. I also think that as long as political stability remains in those two African countries, that the government will be very accommodating to Sundance's needs. In Australia, BRM is very small fry.

The biggest factor though in the SP differental is a limo company call Wah Nam. Read the threads from the past 3 months and you will see why
