Circumstances change. When he vowed to take the company through to production, he still had the support and backing, or at least protection of the Talbot Group.

All of a sudden, Talbot Group have abandoned him, and the Chinese now hold an 18% stake.

If George Jones comes out and tells us to accept the 50c bid, or any bid for that matter, it is not because he has mislead or lied to you all along, or that he hasn't been doing his best for shareholders and his late collegues, it is simply because the Chinese have managed to defeat him.

To question the man's integrity, and to suggest that he hasn't done everything he could of, in memory of his fallen friends, is pretty low, not to mention selfish.

I could only imagine how George would be feeling, if his hand was forced and he has no other option to tell shareholders to accept a takeover offer.
