To add a picture to your post you must have the picture stored somewhere on an accessible web server. Most ISPs give you a few Megabytes to use. Mine is with optus. I use a freeware product FTP Explorer to copy files from my PC to the server but you can use just plain old FTP or a number of other available products.
Hence I can use the line
<img src=http://members.optusnet.com.au/~omni1/cst.png">
which will display
The op was for a bowel hernia. Quite a big deal at the time but he is recovering well and has some hair growing to cover his dignity.
