Mr Bluntaxe,
The family had 52, not 43 Eastern Star shares like you are saying. If we had had only 43 shares like you imply, then we would have ended up with only 2.93 Santos shares, which would have been an unmarketable parcel, as you will need a full 3.0 Santos shares to have a marketable parcel here in Jamaica.
However, we held 52 Eastern Star shares and that would have given us 3.55 Santos shares on conversion, which would have been a most marketable parcel, according to our stockbroker, Mr Waseem Barakhat(Member, Stockbroking Association, Jamica).
But as nephew Lincoln explained some time ago, we have sold out of Eastern Star, so that when we apply the Santos conversion rate to our holding now, we end up with exactly 0.00 shares.
Thank you very much.
Remus Esq.
