SA play It's a fact that SA government has a poor record of environmental management and they are not about to start being ground breakers.
They need any and all forms of investment and project's like this more than anything.
The environmental issues will be easily dealt with and managed because Karoo is very deep. Sections can be cemented and cased, ie seperated and presto. Shell will pave the way. the chemicals used aren't that toxic as they are a trade secret.
IMO expect a small retrace, normal and then steady as she goes.
