Yeah fair enough CJ.. I guess though as far as negatively geared posts go.. I think over the past 1couple of years MDV's HC forum has had numerous blatant down rampers that were far more direct and misinforming than what Munji posts here.. I doubt any conscientious investor would rely on information seen on HC to determine their sentiment and position, however it likely does have some influence.. When Day trading, you follow the flow of investors and one marker of following the flow is where the HC users flock to at any given moment.. Equivalently volume markers and other intraday trading spikes or announcements are instantaneous more or less but HC also has the benefit of identifying a cumulative sentiment of existing interested parties either on the positive side or negative side with comments reflecting often unsubstantiated opinions and motivated by what ever modus operandi that user has on the stock.

The reason why the S.P has performed poorly over the last year IMHO is more a reflection of announcement strategies in this volatile market against projected company achievements and those investors looking for a short to mid term turn around, shifting their sentiments as key dates pass without "the deal" being finalized.. Unfortunate as it is, its not an unusual direction that R&D stocks go.. Most of us here have seen Micros re-rate on single events and I expect it will occur here also.. The question is when?. The answer is "when it happens".. ... One of the cooler questions that I would like to find the answer to, is how do you identify a company that is about to re-rate? ...

Anyway, enjoy the rest of your weekend..
