Just like CEO and TVN, TPL would be acquiring leases already issued. I understand, many local (Mongolian) companies with leases are looking at rolling their leases into public listed companies. From TPL perspective, it is about finding the right leases, perhaps paying a bit more for one that has some successful exploratory work done.
IMO, the long term future of TPL lies in the Canning and Bowen basins in Australia. Sure, Mongolia assets will give the company SP a flip, but Mongolia's performance is too much dependent on China' economy.
