My boys play Union at regional rep level but I probably enjoy League more myself.
I could never understand tackling in AFL. Sometimes they seem to be penalised for tackling.
To be fair, AFL players are obviosly skillful athletes and I guess its a case of what you grew up with. Actually I enjoy soccer, but I guess I played that as well as Union and League.
I dislike games with high scores like AFL and Basketball, but now the rugby codes are starting to go the same way.
I prefer the tension of soccer with little scoring.
