I got this from somebody else. It may be of interest.
" There is a technique companies often use with drills. If the first round is good they release the results quick (and raise capital*). If they miss they tend to drill more, average in or cut off the misses, and then release at that point. So when drills are sooner than expected the results are nearly always great IMO. When they are slow to come I start lightening up."
