In the scheme of things it's not the biggest set back ever recorded in history, but some positive news to keep up the current momentum would have been a real treat - not to be! They may yet test the other intervals - maybe - fat chance??
Have to agree with you on that one HC in that I have now assigned a COS of zero to Sadie. They are suspending the well because of all the sunk cost, and the remote possibility of extracting economic flow rates from the other minor zones. But in essense, this is the end game for Sadie as far as I am concern - disappointingly. Call me a cynic - but I suspect the initial result was known (but not stabilised, hence no announcement) when they pull the CR trigger knowing that the second income stream wasn't to be. This one is worse than Deerslayer given they spent quite a lot completing the well and connecting it to sales. Wonder if this has anything to do with SA's decision to move on? Anyway, it is a small blip in the overall scheme of things, but another negative strike against the management nonetheless. Note: I am still going to take up all my entitlements regardless of where the price is trading since I had already sold some to take up my entitlements.
As the great man said .." forget the past it cannot follow you "
Hi pisces, with all due respect, I personally disagree with whoever this great man is. As far as I am concerned, our past defines who we are in many ways. While the past cannot be used to predict the future, it provides a fairly well defined picture of our inner self (in terms of achievements, competence, integrity, etc). Buffett completely stuffed up buying ConocoPhillips when oil approached US150 and lost a packet, but it was his past that enabled investors to look past the mistake. Madoff used his past to con millions of people, and even if he has the opportunity to redeem himself, the ghost of his past will follow him to his grave.
