Beautifully held up today MHM after US 2 point drop overnight. US situation is now farcical verging on very scary. Boehner's staunchest tea partiers now saying they'll effectively block "anything" new that's put forward. The $$ cost for China alone if there's no resolution by Sunday is...well...massive. Implications for all, but our markets amongst Asia would be first to take a hit Monday. Surely a resolution tonight or the Exits could be busy early arvo. Food for thought.
On a darker front, news just in following tests this afternoon have now confirmed the poor fox Slick refers to in his brilliant update, was in fact Firsova!! Early indicators suggest she was unsuccessfully attempting to dip her toe back into MHM waters. She was warned she could find herself dead in the proverbial if she held off too long. Not so cunning afterall. RIP Firs, you'll be missed. (Sorry, couldn't help myself)
