One of the reasons companies list on the share market, in fact one of the principal reasons for the existance of the sharemarket, is that the current owners of a business want to spread the risk to others who are willing to take it.
Cabela's "solution????" might mean that few companies would ever list and many otherwise fine companies might not get off the ground in the first place.
If Cabela wants a minimum 10% profit, he/she should put the money in a high interest bearing deposit. Even then there are no absolute guarantees.
