GZ they don't deserve better, they deserve exactly what is coming. Why? Because its the ignorance and gullibility of the people that has let this happen in the first place. Take responsibility for exactly what you are voting for. If the majority of the people educated or at least become more inquisitive of how the system is suppose to work then there is more chance of keeping the politicians in check.
Further more its the ignorance of the people who are so blind to the fact that a little pain is needed to stop a whole lot of pain. Economic slowdowns or recessions aren't only healthy, but necessary. But people don't want to know about that so governments mold to their will with dangerous intervention. People also want everything now and if they haven't the money they borrow.
Australians aren't as ignorant imo however not a common thing to have a conversation with anyone who thinks beyond what is fed to them via commercial media, and you would be lucky to even get that far.
Its the people who ultimately hold the balance of power. Not the corporations and certainly not the politicians. But these groups know they can rely on the majority of the people not to look beyond their nose.
Now watch the non objective, emotionally charged mob mentality people try and take a bite out of me!
