Matt747 are u saying that you believe Hanlong will make another offer which will be more substantial than their current one...How much more do you think...10%,20%,30% more..

Management are clearly open to a takeover offer at the right price, i would be interested to see what managements prices is...

There are a couple of scenarios that may also play out...If the US debt issue is not resolved and they get a credit rating reduction which is on the cards then we may see SDL drop below the current takeover value as markets around the world go into sharp decline...this will work in Hanlongs favour..

The other issue is what would then happen if Hanlong actually withdraws or reduces its offer....I would be happy for them to withdraw their offer as would like to hold SDL to production,but if we are taken over that wont happen...

I dont see any substantial increase in the SP from here unless we have a counter takeover, or until there is an announcement regarding offtake/finance and i dont think this is going to happen for at least a month......
