    Yeah, that's me! Lapdog the political satirist, would-be cartoonist & jovial old jester ... heeeeheeeheehe ... roflmao.

    Re your post which included;
    "... If labor feel that libs are in a policy void and all they can do is oppose then surely it would be in their best interests to accept the challenge to call an early election?
    Can they not beat a party that has no policies? ..."

    People keep painting me a Labor supporter. In reality my agenda crosses political boundaries:
    . Commitment to the principle of a fair go for all & maximum responsible enjoyment of our time on this Planet.
    . Support for those genuinely less able to provide for their own needs - locally & globally.
    . Recognition of excellence & encouraging innovation.
    . Rejection of discrimination & persecution in all their forms.
    . Belief in the need for sustainable use of our environment.
    . Expectation that our leaders will be held to account by a diverse media committed to genuine investigative research & fair reporting.

    If I can make that list in 5 minutes I don't think it is unreasonable to expect Tony Abbott to do likewise.

    Otherwise, if & when he becomes PM he will have a plan to do nothing & a mandate to achieve just that. IMO Australia deserves much better - nor do I jest about that expectation.
