I still wonder why WFE thought they could get $35m to buy the CAZ share of the JV. They surely had a particular cornerstone investor in mind, and thought they had a good chance of getting the money.
So they got the C.I., but for some reason not (enough of) the money. I like to think it is because the C.I. has come up with a better plan to build his iron ore investment, and that plan involves CAZ. Remember that Nathan left the Winmar board in mysterious circumstances, so that could be related.
