We all missed it! Remember the png security council directive to round up all the odd-ball weapons used by png correctional services? Well now they need to buy some new rifles also!!

I guess the reason to go through mst, is mst is days away from being an 'approved supplier' to png. Its just that little bit easier and faster imo to order from an approved supplier and Aus business (AusAid funding).

The best thing here, it (in a very tiny way) shows Colt continuing to expand in Asia. (Google: Malaysia Colt M4) Take over mst and Colts Asian expansion can really take off!!! All the best run US companies are moving into Asia!

Colt can work with mst, but imo, acquiring ownership makes more sense in the long term. Companies over 150 years old tend to think in the long term!!! Joint venture with BAE because of Firestorm and its enabling technologies??

The big US-AU defence agreement Howard started back in 07 has been ratified by US Congress, expected to be ratified by AU parliament shortly after it resumes Aug 22. DoD to order Colt M4's (anything from the M4 family) shortly after to replace Steyr. Why else would DoD put out stories about SAS wants Steyer replaced and SAS uses M4's? 'Anonymous and Random article' sure!!!

    Colt M4 + MAUL, M203 for regulars.
    Colt CM901 + MAUL, M203, 3GL for the others

BTW my 2 cents worth on the notes extension, 6 months is really the minimum extension possible. They couldn't really go 3 or 4 months. To many questions about why so short. In reality I think 6 months is a tiny extension in relation to recent news and the life of mst! Enough monies from sales in the next 3-4 months to pay back note holders? No way imo. So why only extend for the minimum time realistically possible? Something is brewing imo. And IMO it's not an administrator spending 2-3 years working out dsto/colt/tazer agreements and maul, 3gl, firestorm products and all their enabling patented technologies!
