Hi Buddy.
I was simply making the point that ESG cannot pay a dividend(ordinary or special) as it has no retained earnings to pay it out of.
A capital return is a different animal to a dividend. Theoretically ESG could pay one like you say "if they want to ". IMHO though there is next to no chance of it happening in the current environment.
