I tend to agree Woteva. The 'miscalculation' doesn't lend much credibility to S&P (which was already under a cloud), and every man and his dog was expecting the downgrade anyway. There could even be some relief that the uncertainty about the downgrade has been removed.
Countering that, the market is just so skittish at the moment, that it might just be the excuse needed to drop the Dow another 500 points.
Guess we'll know Monday night.
